Faculty Positions

As FNU continues to grow, we are seeking faculty to join our historic and innovative school. Faculty members at Frontier generally work from their home offices with 4-6 trips to Hyden, Kentucky each year to teach at on-campus intensives. Faculty also attend the annual graduation ceremony and on campus faculty meeting in October.
Faculty work together closely through email, MSN Messenger, and conference calls. Teaching is done using the ANGEL Learning Management system enhanced with conference calls, on-line chats, web conferencing, etc.
Qualifications include:
- A strong belief in the FNU Mission.
- The ability to teach across the MSN and/or DNP curriculum in a distance learning environment.
- Earned doctorate, MSN with significant completion of a doctorate in progress will be considered.
- Previous teaching experience with experience in distance learning preferred.
- Current certification as a FNP, CNM and/or WHNP and licensure in the state of residence.
- One of Frontier's major goals is to increase the diversity of the health care work force. Therefore we are very interested in minority candidates.
